Be the Beacon of Hope for the Children of the Maasai!
This project has been sustained for the past 14 years but is at a pivotal point in its existence….
There is a critical need for sponsors to sustain the school, and we invite you to get involved! The founder of the school passed away in 2010, since that time her daughter Jennifer Myles has been the primary donor sustaining the school through her salary as a nurse. $5,000 is needed each month to operate the school covering the salary of ten teachers, one cook, one guard and incidentals.
The school has outgrown the one donor’s ability to sustain the school and that is why we need you to help with the growth of The Beacon of Hope.
With your help, we can build sustainability for the Beacon of Hope through sponsor involvement. The school has grown from 22 children to more than 180 with graduates from primary, going on to secondary and entering into college.
Due to extreme poverty, many parents are not able to pay school fees and no child is turned away.
